We have an opening for an EYFS teacher at our excellent client school in Hangzhou, China. The school is a bi lingual satellite nursery linked to a prestigious UK private school which is establishing itself as one of the leading school groups in China. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, skilled EY practitioner, with recent and relevant experience delivering the EYFS programme. A degree in Early childhood education or first degree plus PGCE and QTS is a pre requisite. Prior experience working in a bilingual setting and/or EAL experience in an EY context is highly desirable.
Hangzhou is located in Zhejiang province, about a 2 hour drive from Shanghai or 70-90 minutes by D-Train. It is a city of ove r5 million people and home to internet tech giants such as Alibaba. Hangzhou’s climate is humid and subtropical with four clear seasons, which entails long, very hot, humid summers and cold, cloudy and dry winters, along with some snow at times.
Hangzhou is famous for its history and nature and culture. A popular destination for tourists to visit, it is also renowned for its UNESCO World Heritage Site West Lake, which covers over 8,000 acres with areas of outstanding natural beauty, old pagodas and sites of cultural significance along its shores.
